Artist's Statement:

"My inspiration, more often than not, comes from pop culture like music and movies.  A certain piece of music will put me in a mood that at times will show up in my work.

In my day job I tend to lean towards the gritty side of life. I find the idea of three days on a bus to Mexico much more exciting than any Super Bowl. I like real people in real situations and being able to stay with them as long as deadlines allow. I rarely work with abstracts.

Like most artists, I look for the right light and good angles with pleasing composition but I also try to capture the right moments. It can be a quiet and subtle moment like the tip of a head or light bouncing off a surface, as long as it’s fleeting."
