Artist's Statement: Fear/Desire originated as a fantasy story and was altered to be produced for a videography course. Elements of the surreal are still present in its final form but it subtle amounts. The short film is almost entirely silent with special emphasis on the piece's climatic shot. |

| The short film was inspired by comic fans who demanded more from their reality and Ultraman provided that diversion. I'm Ultraman won the award for best film at the Fairfax County Public Schools Film Festival in 2005. Since then, the hero Ultraman has made appearances in a variety of media, including the design-based trailer for The Adventures of Ultraman." | |
